Properties

White or gray-white powder, Bitteraweet. Soluble
in alcohol, acetone. benzol and a few CCL4. It
is stable in open air.

Application

It acts as middle-speed accelerator, suitable for
natural and synthetic rubber, and acts as
activator for accelerator, such as kind of thiazole
of thiuram or of sulfenamide. It acts plasticizer
and plastic-divider on chloroprene rubber and
used in tyre, rubber shoes, etc.
